To determine the voltage of your golf cart’s battery system:
1. Lift the seat to locate the battery compartment.
2. Count the number of holes (usually 3, 4, or 6).
3. Multiply the number of holes by 2 to get the battery voltage.
• Each hole is 2 volts.
4. Multiply the battery voltage by the total number of batteries in the cart.
For example, a 36V system with 6 six-volt batteries would have 3 holes per battery (3 holes x 2 volts = 6V), while a 48V system with 6 eight-volt batteries would have 4 holes per battery.
Important: Always use batteries with matching voltage, capacity, and configuration.
