Brake Caliper for GOTRAX XR Elite & XR Elite MAX Electric Scooters
Our brake caliper for the GOTRAX XR Elite electric scooter works on the rear wheel’s disc to ensure a smooth stop. Available in a black enamel finish, this replacement brake caliper is easy to install on the left side next to the rear wheel with two mounting bolts. This brake disc is sold separately and the mounting hardware is not included.
Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the drum & band brakes found on most smaller electric scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops.
