Our brake caliper for GOTRAX APEX Pro, GXL V2, & XR Ultra electric scooters works on the rear wheel’s disc to ensure a smooth stop. Available in a black enamel finish, this replacement brake caliper is easy to install next to the rear wheel with the two mounting bolts which are included. The brake disc is sold separately. Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the drum & band brakes found on most smaller electric scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops. The superb GOTRAX GXL V2 electric scooters is a serious youth-size machine made to last.
