Brake Cable for GOTRAX Apex & Apex XL Electric Scooters
The brake cable for the GOTRAX Apex and Apex XL electric scooters is wrapped in a distinctive red 68-7/8″ sleeve. It uses a barrel end to connect to the brake lever and a straight swaged end that attaches to the caliper.
A notable feature of the Apex brake system is how the cable runs from the lever to the brake. Unlike most electric scooters where the cable remains exposed down the handlebar and outside the battery tray, the Apex’s cable passes into the handlebar stem below the cross-bar.
