ACDelco Gold Series (AGM) Battery Limited Warranty

ACDelco, General Motors Company, warrants to the original retail purchaser a new replacement Professional battery for 36 months (depending on the part number) from the date of purchase when used in private passenger car and light truck applications.

In the event you wish to make a claim under this warranty, you must return your dated bill of sale and your battery, with its warranty insert intact, to your ACDelco retailer. If your dated bill of sale is not available, the beginning date for this warranty will be based on the date code as it appears on the battery label.

Should an ACDelco battery prove defective based on the ACDelco test procedures published in the 7A-100 Battery Catalog during the Standard Warranty period, the initial user is entitled to a new ACDelco battery of comparable performance at no charge. If an ACDelco battery is replaced under warranty at no-charge to the customer, the newly replaced battery will receive the remainder of the original warranty. Consequently, in the event that the second battery fails, the date of sale of the original retail purchase is to be used as the beginning date when calculating months of service.
