3-Wire Thumb Throttle for GOTRAX Apex, Apex LE, & Apex XL Electric Scooters
Do you need a new throttle for your electric scooter? If so, then you have come to the right place for replacement parts and accessories! Take a look at our 3-wire thumb throttle. The thumb throttle, sometimes referred to as a finger speed control or accelerator, is one of the most important pieces of your electric scooter. This throttle is compatible with the GOTRAX Apex, Apex LE, & Apex XL electric scooters for adults. Review images to verify the connector matches your existing connector. It comes with a 7″ wiring harness with a white 3-pin female connector, making it easy to install. Please note, this throttle comes with an internal key, or nub, that will slide into slot on handlebars.
INSTRUCTIONS-Disconnect battery-Remove grip-Loosen set screw on bottom of throttle-Disconnect throttle harness from the main harness (access may differ between models)-Slide throttle down about an inch and remove rubber insert from handlebar slot-Gently pull harness through and slide throttle off handlebar-To install, repeat instructions in reverse being careful to align parts in the slot on the handlebar
